What to Expect
Massage sessions begin with a general written and verbal intake. Written intakes include your contact information, medical history, past injuries and/or surgeries. Most importantly, our verbal intake will include your reasons for seeking out massage and address specific concerns to focus on during our session. Initial intakes may include postural analysis, gait analysis, and palpation. Session time includes a 5-10 minute intake, selected massage time (60 or 90 minutes) and 5 minute outtake. During your session, we request you communicate any feedback, concerns, discomforts, or additional needs you may have regarding the work, pressure, area being worked, or comfort on the table.
